Singer Brandy Norwood, is doing promo for her latest film the Tyler Perry produced "Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor." While chatting up theGrio about her film the songtress also shared her sentiments about Beyoncé's "Bow Down/I been On."
"I don't love the song. But I love Beyoncé. I just have to be honest. You know," Brandy told theGrio. "I think art is freedom. You should be able to express yourself the way you choose to express yourself. Of course people are gonna have their own opinion, but opinion is opinion. I think art should be expressed the way it should," she said.
Although Brandy hasn't had a Platinum album since "Full Moon" in 2002, her longevity in the music industry proves that she knows a thing or two about how to make a hit song.
'Temptation' hits theaters, Friday March 29. Check the trailer for more on the film:
