According to the results of the 2013 UEFA Champions League Semifinals drawing this morning, Bayern Munich is set to host FC Barcelona on April 23 and Borussia Dortmund will host Real Madrid on April 24. The return legs of these matches are set for April 30 and May 1 respectively with the Champions League final held on Saturday 25 May at Wembley Stadium in London.

As you can see, these semifinals drawings have kept the Spanish powerhouses away from each other, which could turn into an interesting all Spanish final. But do not count out the German squads just yet. Both Bayern and Dortmund have proven themselves worthy of the semifinals, so who is to say the finals won't have the Germans present? With today's drawing, experts are certainly trying to guess the outcomes, but it is not as easy as they thought.
Here is a video of today's semifinal drawing, which includes some commentary on the matchups:
According to some bookmakers' odds, it looks like Barcelona is favored to win with Dortmund as the long shot. So what does that mean for fans? At the very least, you get to see the two best players in the world, Lionel Messi of Barcelona and Cristiano Rinaldo of Madrid, play two solid semifinals matches and then maybe even meet each other in the finals.
But soccer is a fickle sport. The final score depends on many factors and one of those aspects is luck. At the very least, the next few games are sure to be the most exciting sporting events in the world.
Lionel Messi is arguably the best athlete in the history of the sport. Also, Cristiano Rinaldo is a very close second to Messi. My advice is to enjoy the next month of the UEFA Champions League because it is definitely going to be intense, enjoyable and memorable.
