The following acts, in no particular order, advanced safely to next week:
The Swon Brothers
That left these four contestants fighting for two spots:
And with precious few moments to spare, the audience learned that Vedo and Garrett had been eliminated. Holly Tucker and Sasha Allen rounded out the Top 10 for next week.
Elsewhere in the show, Robin Thicke performed his newest single, "Blurred Lines," with Kris Thomas and Vedo way in the background. Lady Antebellum also performed "Goodbye Town" with the ladies of Team Adam and Blake Shelton sang "Play Something Country" with his team.
It would seem that "The Voice" is headed the way of "American Idol" this season as two of the five male acts in the Top 12 went home Tuesday night. That leaves seven women in the Top 10 and, quite frankly, they are simply better than their male counterparts in this competition.
"The Voice" returns next week with two episodes. The Top 10 will perform in a two-hour broadcast on Monday and the results show will air Tuesday night on NBC.
