Jessica Walter, who played Bluth Family matriarch Lucille Bluth, talked about what it was like reuniting with the cast after more than five years.

"Once we were all together in the living room set, recreated to the nails in the wall, it was as if time had never passed," Walter said. "It was surreal."

Jason Bateman, who portrayed Michael Bluth, discussed revisiting his character after so many years.

"He's just kind of banged-up from the seven years," Bateman said. "He's not in as good a financial situation as he was before. He's trying to get things back together and not fall for the same sort of temptations that his parents fell for in breaking the law. He's also trying to rehabilitate his family and bring them together and have them stop bickering. He's trying to reconnect with his son who's in college."

Michael Cera, whose character George Michael Bluth had an on-again, off-again infatuation with his cousin Maeby, addressed that relationship.

"I thought it had gotten to the point where George Michael was still crazy about Maeby and now it was like a family problem because he's, like, 24 and it's not so cute anymore," Cera said.

Bateman also said that each of the 15 Netflix-only episodes is "specific to one principal character" and that the action happening in each of the episodes happens simultaneously.

"So as those characters cross in those episodes, you will be privy to certain information as it pertains to that particular character and through that particular lens," Bateman said. "So certain scenes will repeat in other episodes. When you see that scene in another character's episode, you're going to literally be on the other side of the room and you're listening to different conversations. All of that information kind of pollenates into one story of those 15 episodes."
