Rumors surrounding Eminem's new 2013 album took the web by storm back in October 2012... several months later, and details surrounding Slim Shady's new music still remain unknown. The record's release date is allegedly "set" for July 2... but that's still unconfirmed. Several bogus album name and tracklist "leaks" have gone viral on the web... again, most-likely all fake. Twitter fans continue to anxiously await any word from Eminem or Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg... so what's the deal? Although little information's available, Mstars has what fans need-to-know (so far). And while Slim Shady enthusiasts wait for the new album, check out this list of "10 Things You Didn't Know" about the "Not Afraid" rapper compiled by The Drop. Mine as well have some fun while waiting!

For those fans who still need to catch-up on the Eminem new album rumors... Mstars has got you covered!
Shady's fresh beats were "supposed to" drop the day after Memorial Day (May 28)... well, that didn't happen. Now rumors suggest that the release date is July 2. But according to former D12 rapper and Eminem's hype man Mr. Porter, it's more likely that the record will hit air-wives sometime in the fall (or late summer).
And here's a video "leak" entitled "Eminem Reveals Tracklist of NEW Album ''Famous' 2013." The clip was posted by mcjmusic8 on April 10 and has already garnered thousands of views. Just so fans know, it's probably fake. Some of the listed song names and collaborations are just too suspect.
For some REAL "fun facts" about Eminem (although they have nothing to do with the rapper's new album), check this out:
Eminem was initially considered for a role in 2010's "The Fighter"
Mark Wahlberg once considered Marshall Mathers for the part of "Dicky" Eklund. Wahlberg thought Matt Damon wasn't too interested in the part... but he eventually cast Christian Bale instead.
Eminem's first arrest was acted out in "8 Mile"
Eminem was first arrested at 20-years-old for shooting a police car with a paintball gun. However, the rapper wasn't the one to fire the shot, his friend was. According to police, the paintball didn’t even break. Apparently the alleged victim never showed up for court so the case was dismissed. The initial arrest was recreated in Shady's movie "8 Mile."
Eminem's in "The Guinness Book of World Records."
Eminem's rap success is legendary. In "The Guinness Book of World Records," Shady's currently listed as having the record for most successive U.S. No.1 albums by a solo artist, being the 21st century’s top-selling album act, and having the most successive U.S. albums to debut at No.1 by a solo artist. He also once held the record for most likes on a Facebook page, with over 42 million likes.
