(Photo : Mario Anzuori/REUTERS) Nick Jonas turns 21 today (Sept. 16)! Help celebrate his birthday by reliving five of his best songwriting efforts.
The Jonas Brothers just keep trucking along. Recently, they have released a new music video for their "V" single "First Time" and embarked on the cross-country Jonas Brothers Live Tour 2013. JB Live is set to wrap up soon, finishing on Aug. 16 in Universal City, California. Though many would expect the trio to take a break, they have no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Today (Aug. 13), Nick Jonas announced on his Twitter that he has signed on to guest star in an upcoming episode of the CBS drama "Hawaii Five-0."
"Just signed on for a guest role on Hawaii Five-0 that will air in late fall! Aloha! #H50 @HawaiiFive0CBS #Five0Friday," the producer/singer/actor wrote.
According to TV Fanatic, Nick will play a "shady" computer hacker, who gets wrapped up in a case with the "Hawaii Five-0" crew.
Of course, this will not be the first foray into acting for Nick. The youngest Jonas brother actually got his start on Broadway as Tiny Tim in "A Christmas Carole" in 2000. Since then, he has had steady acting gigs, including the "Camp Rock" movies and "JONAS"/"JONAS L.A." TV show with his brothers Kevin and Joe.
Most recently, Nick guested as Lyle West on "Smash."
With the news of Nick's acting gig, fans have to wonder how busy the Jonas Brothers will be promoting and releasing "V." Though a fall date is rumored for the band's fifth studio album, an official release date has yet to be announced. Additionally, oldest JoBro Kevin has a baby on the way with his wife Danielle.
Details even remain scarce on the album. Only a few songs, such as "Neon," "The World" and "What Do I Mean To You" have been announced and performed live, in addition to singles "Pom Poms" and "First Time."
Regardless of the lack of "V" updates, here is what MStars knows so far about the new album:
