Marvel recently released a fee app for iOS devices called "JARVIS: A Second Screen Experience" to coincide with the release of Iron Man 3 on DVD and Blu-Ray and the premiere of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on ABC. And through that app, fans have received their first glimpse at the main villain in the next Avengers movie.

Use of the app unlocks additional content on the Iron Man 3 Blu-Ray, but it also reveals the trailer for The Avengers: Age of Ultron shown at San Diego Comic-Con 2013 in July.
Check out the video below from Screen Rant, in which Tony Stark's Iron Man armor transforms into Ultron:
Here's what Screen Rant reports about The Avengers: Age of Ultron:
"Writer and director Joss Whedon had planned for Ultron to be the villain of The Avengers 2 while he was working on the first one, and there was even an eerie scene hinting that JARVIS could have something to do with Ultron's creation that was cut from the film. Whedon has since confirmed that since the character of Ant-Man won't be introduced until after The Avengers: Age of Ultron that Ultron's origins will be entirely original (Hank Pym aka Ant-Man created Ultron in Marvel Comics). Ultron was also never a part of Edgar Wright's Ant-Manscript. This led us to believe that perhaps Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) could be responsible for his creation since obviously his armor has a big part to play in Ultron's physical form and he's the guy who builds and utilizes AI in his armored suits and lab - this would also give him the motivation for suiting up again after essentially tossing his armor out at the end of Iron Man 3."
The Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters on May 1, 2015.
