The Make-A-Wish Foundation is about to make a little boy's dream come true in one of the coolest ways possible. Miles, a five-year-old who is battling leukemia, will become Batman on Nov. 15 as the foundation transforms San Francisco into Gotham City.

The wish fulfillment will give Miles a sidekick, a breaking news call for help from the police chief, a Batmobile and two supervillains to fight, according to SFGate.com. Thousands of volunteers have already signed up for the event.

First, Miles...excuse me, Batman...will rescue a damsel in distress from the Hyde St. cable car tracks in Nob Hill. Then he will stop The Riddler from robbing a bank downtown. During a lunch break at the Burger Bar above Union Square, Batman will get a call on the Batphone to look out the window, where he will see hundreds and hundreds of volunteers asking for his help "because the Penguin will be kidnapping a famous Gotham City mascot."

The Penguin's getaway car, a convertible so everyone can see the action, will be visible in Union Square. Batman will chase him down and catch him. Finally, Batman will stop at City Hall to receive thanks from the mayor and the police chief of Gotham City, who will give him the key to the city. How cool is that?

The Make-A-Wish Foundation continues to release details and updates on the event as the Nov. 15 date draws closer. Anyone who wishes to learn more or get involved can visit the Miles' Wish page here.
