Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise's divorce in 2012 has finally settled in record time.  From the moment Holmes filed for divorce 53 days ago, the whole process was surprisingly quiet and easy for the two.  Previous reports have suggested that Holmes has strategically planned the entire divorce for months before it was initiated.  

It also appeared that Cruise was not interested in fighting Holmes and simply wanted to settle as amicably as possibly.  Very little details have been revealed about this entire divorce.

Holmes sought for sole custody of their daughter Suri with generous visitation rights for Cruise.  A source claiming to be a "friend" of Cruise said to E! News, "Tom is very happy and relieved that he is moving forward. His priority is being a good father and this settlement will make sure that continues."

This will make Cruise three times divorced, and is Holmes' first divorce.  Let us hope they both can find happiness again.
