According to the Latino news outlet HuffPost Voces, sources very close to the "Hips Don't Lie" songstress confirm that Shakira is indeed four months pregnant with a baby boy. Rumors of the Columbian singer being pregnant with Barcelona soccer star Gerard Pique's child have been circulating all summer. Now that insiders confirm the baby news, looks like juicer gossip is looming just over the horizon - rumors of a supposed Shakira-Pique sex tape.

According to one source quoted by HuffPost Voces, the 35-year-old singer and her 25-year-old "football" star beau were recently spotted at an ob-gyn clinic in Miami for an ultrasound. The insider claims that, "Shakira has an illness more common than people think it is. It's called Toxoplasma and therefore she has to be more careful for herself and the fetus...until now they haven't been able to see the sex. The fetus is still very small...but the type of illness she has requires periodic exams that could reveal the sex of the baby earlier."
Toxoplasma is a parasitic disease that can commonly be transmitted through exposure to cat feces or undercooked meats. It is a fairly common illness that can hopefully be easily attended to, so best wishes to Shakira for a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Now, on to the sex tape scandal rumors. While claims of an existing Shakira-Pique sex tape have only been speculated, a Barcelona talent agent has now reported to the Spanish magazine "Intervieu" that he was recently offered the tape for sale.
The talent agent claims, "The video lasts about 15 minutes....it's filmed with a cell phone, which I guess, belonged to Shakira's employee who was at the helm of the boat that night. The images are not steady and it's out of focus."
Sources allege that the employee now wants to use the tape as blackmail. This may be connected to a case involving some former Shakira employees, who accused the Colombian singer of unfairly firing them after they failed to prepare her food in the middle of the night. These former employees have sued the "Whenever, Wherever" songstress. Shakira's lawyer Ezequiel A. Camerini refutes the claims, and recently released a statement to the Colombian newspaper "El Espectador":
"There is clear evidence of intentions to defame and cause harm to my client by taking advantage of her public persona and spotless personal reputation in exchange for money."
Welcome back to the spotlight, Shakira!
