The Talk ladies decided to boldly unveil their bare face with no makeup on the daytime show. What a way to premiere Season 3 of the show! The co-hosts Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler, and Julie Chen along with all their guests sported white robes without a hint of makeup in a round table discussion that felt more like a girls' day out at a spa. They entered the stage like shy teenage girls hiding their faces, however they became more comfortable as the show continued on. Comparison photos of them with and without makeup appeared on the screen at the beginning of the show to show the drastic differences.

The idea for a makeup free show started from Sara Gilbert. She explained in an interview with ET, "There's not many single one person that would go on TV in front of millions of people with no makeup, so to be in a group of people that are willing to do that together is really cool. It shows that we're willing to show parts of our lives that not everybody is willing to show. We really are girlfriends and because we feel safe with each other, we're willing to show more of ourselves to the public."

Underwood assured that it was only a one time experiment to go without makeup on television.

"It's refreshing, but tomorrow we'll be right back [wearing makeup]," she said.
