Kate Middleton's nude and topless photos were shockingly published by a French publication on Friday, September 14, 2012.  Prince William and Duchess Catherine of Cambridge are currently traveling across Asia and were "saddened to learn about the alleged photos."  The published photos that were shot from a distance appeared to be the real thing and were apparently taken while the couple dubbed as "William and Kate" were vacationing in France.

Just when the public thought that Prince Harry's wild naked Vegas trip was the most shocking news for the royal family this year, Middleton's topless scandal is even more shocking.  However, it is not becasue the Duchess of Cambridge is revealing her "wild" side, but it is because her privacy was completely evaded.

"The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to the Duke and Duchess for being so," said an official of the St. James's Palace to Time magazine.

So far, none of the U.K. press have published the nude photos.  

"We feel a line has been crossed with their publication," said another British royal official.  

The Royal couple is consulting with lawyers now, and they have a very high chance of winning if they take legal action.

"Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them," the official from London said.
