Pop star Jessica Simpson and hubby Eric Johnson are too cute for words when it comes to the recent family pics Simpson tweeted this week of the two holding their adorable baby daughter Maxwell. 32-year-old Simpson posted the intimate photos to her website on Wednesday, gushing over how happy the couple is to have adorable Maxwell in their life.

In honor of fiancé Johnson's 33^rd birthday, Simpson tweeted the picture above along with this message out to fans:

@JessicaSimpson: "Last year at Daddy's party, Maxwell was in my belly. This year she's in my arms!"

The beautiful black-and-white photos show both Simpson and Johnson smiling while holding 4-month-old Maxwell, who flaunts a pretty summer dress and a tiny bow in her hair.

Simpson was met with some fan and critic backlash after she debuted a photo of Maxwell earlier this month on Katie Couric's new daytime talk show. The popular fashion designer showed an image of 4-mont-old Maxwell a teeny-weeny yellow bikini. Some, including director Claude Knights of the British child welfare charity Kidscape, found the photo completely inappropriate: "It is very disturbing to see a young baby presented to the world wearing a bikini. Celebrity choices carry great influence, as can be seen by the manner in which their accessories and behaviors are copied widely."

Hopefully there are no complaints over the most-recent photos - they are presented in nothing but good-taste.

Simpson has already lost 40 pounds of her baby weight as a representative of Weight Watchers - the singer signed a $4 million endorsement deal with the popular weight loss and health maintenance program back in June. Simpson insists her slimmed-down physique has resulted from careful dieting and daily exercise. The star claims she'd be happy and content losing another ten pounds.
