A New Jersey man named Mike didn't think he would survive Hurricane Sandy after he was swept away from his home by floods (which he believed were ten feet deep).

The Toms River, N.J. resident broke into Christine Treglia's vacant home and left a note explaining he was suffering from hypothermia and took her blankets and a black jacket. In the letter, he also wanted the owner of the home to, "tell my Dad I love him," and left his father's phone number in order to make the call.
