Kim Kardashian's bid to rope in the Duchess of Cambridge to endorse her line of garments fell flat. Kate Middleton refused to consider the request of the popular reality star. Kardashians have recently launched their fashion line, Kardashian Kollection, in Britain

The Kardashians offered samples from their clothing collection to the Duchess but the offer was turned down. Media reports that Kim Kardashian was deeply hurt by the rebuff. The television sensation is reportedly obsessed with the beautiful wife of Prince William.

"Kim wasn't happy because she's obsessed with Kate, but the Duchess of Cambridge has no interest in becoming part of the Kardashian publicity machine," an insider source said, according to many media reports.

"She hoped Kate might be seen wearing one of the designs out in public, which would give their fashion credentials a huge boost," Dailymail.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

Sources close to the royal family claimed that the Princess received a baggage of free clothes everyday but she sent them back.

"The Kardashians want to be as big in Britain as they are in America, and think associating themselves with the Royals, especially Kate, will help them achieve that," the source added.
