On Monday evening's episode of Bravo's hit reality show "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" (Dec. 10), Adrienne Maloof and her (recently ex) husband Paul Nassif got pretty confrontational with fellow costar Brandi Glanville. The fight was apparently provoked after Glanville let slip a big family secret of Maloof's... but unfortunately fans still have no idea exactly what that big secret is (although rumors suggest it has something to do with surrogate parenting...). Following the shocking episode, Nassif hit up Twitter to explain why he got involved in the on-air spat... but still didn't provide any clues as to what exactly triggered the blowup. Read on to catch the "RHOBH" verbal brawl!

The drama all started at a casual real-estate event hosted by Mauricio Umansky (Real Housewife Kyle Richards' hubby). At one point during the party, Kim Richards alerts Maloof that Glanville was gossiping about a "huge family secret" (which still remains unknown to the public). That's when Maloof and Nassif started fuming, prompting a short yet chaotic confrontation before storming out. Nassif repeatedly called Glanville a "bit##," and Maloof insisted that she was a liar. In her furry, Maloof even called Glanville a "crackpot drug dealer" who can't take care of her own kids. Check out a short clip below:

Following the blowout which aired on Monday, Nassif took to Twitter to explain his rash actions:

@DrPaulNassif: "Was being protective when the conversation went out of bounds. Glad everything is fine with @BrandiGlanville. Time to enjoy the holidays!"

(FYI: Maloof and Nassif filed for divorce in July, 2012 stating "irreconcilable differences.")

Glanville also tweeted:

@BrandiGlanville: "Most of what happened with AM &me was after the reunion & off camera so its hard to see why Im so upset with her! Please remember this!"

So apparently things have blown over since the confrontation... but what exactly was that "big family secret" that Glanville spilled the beans about? No word from Bravo, although rumors suggest that it might have something to do with Glanville alleging that Maloof and Nassif enlisted the help of a surrogate mother to carry their three children. Apparently Glanville overheard the couple telling people that they conceived naturally, and she wanted to call them out on their supposed bluff. What do Mstarz readers think of that? It wouldn't be such a big deal if the surrogate allegations are true, considering Maloof had three young sons (two being twins) at a rather later point in life, but if so that would mean Maloof recently lied about being in labor and having Cesarean sections...
