Songstress Rihanna is known to post rather controversial pics on Instagram... whether they be of her posing naked, smoking weed, or hanging out with on-and-off again beau Chris Brown. Fellow pop star Jessie J recently hit up Twitter, bashing individuals who "waste their time" sharing such vapid images. While the "Price Tag" songstress didn't mention RiRi by name, several fans believed that's exactly who Jessie J was referring to her in little Twitter rant. The English starlet then hit up Twitter again to save some face, insisting that her last tweet wasn't aimed at any specific person... it was just a generalization. She then goes on to confront the media about making such a dramatic story out of nothing.
On January 7 Jessie J randomly tweeted:
@JessieJ: "I'm bored... Maybe I should get naked and smoke and take pictures of myself and post them on instagram? Or NOT... *rolls eyes*."
Fans and social media responded to the post instantly... Jessie J was definitely referring to Rihanna, right?
Jessie J never even mentioned RiRi by name, but several fans ran with it, agreeing that the "Diamond" songstress posts some very inappropriate images that shouldn't be flaunted on Instagram/Twitter.
But the "Domino" singer wants everyone to know that the tweet was definitely not meant to insult Rihanna, so stop making such a big deal about it!
@JessieJ: "Hahaha my TL is hilarious. My last tweet about instagram sadly wasn't an indirect at anyone in particular. There is definitely more than 1 person posting those kind of pictures. Hence my tweet..."
@JessieJ: "Making something of nothing... I'm going to be honest. My tweet about instagram was NOT aimed at anyone in particular... But I will openly say the amount of pictures including men and women nude and girls and guys promoting smoking drugs on the internet these days is a lot. Feels like the boundaries are disappearing. It's become fashionable and in my opinion it's too much. Call me what you want but that's MY opinion and I'm entitled to one."
But the Jessie J "Twitter rant against Rihanna" rumors just wouldn't stop... so the "Do it Like a Dude" star continued:
@JessieJ: "ITS MAD... Crazy how the media is more interested in making a story about me BLASTING one other celebrity *when I didn't* more than the issue I raised that the internet has no boundaries anymore on instagram and twitter. Must be getting real messy under that carpet huh..."
Fair enough... although Jessie J's comments aren't specifically aimed at Rihanna, the "We Found Love" songstress definitely exudes everything her fellow songstress apparently strongly disapproves of:
