Reports confirm that Marianna Taschinger, Hollie Toups, and Kelly Hinson are just three of approximately 20 Southeast Texan women currently suing the "revenge porn website" Texxxan.com and its host site, GoDaddy.com. ABC News reports that the shady website featured explicit photos of several women in sexual acts and positions that were allegedly submitted by their angry, vengeful ex-boyfriends... without their permission. Taschinger and her group of female allies are seeking unspecified monetary damages in the lawsuit from both websites as well as from the individual men who posted the revealing images.

Taschinger admits that she once sent a few nude photos to a man that she had been dating for a few months. She later found the private images posted on Texxan.com - "He eventually got me to trust him and I did. I guess I didn't know that people were that horrible," she tells ABC News.

Toups discovered that semi-nude photos of herself were posted online by a former boyfriend when a friend informed her about the seedy website:

"She said, 'I overheard some people talking about a website. It's pictures, you know, explicit photos that people have posted,' and she said, 'you're on there,'" Toups reveals to ABC News. "I just can't imagine why someone would do this to anyone."

Dozens of women/ex-girlfriends eventually found themselves victims of Texxan's pornographic "payback" website. And now several of those Texan women are seeking vengeance of their own... and according to attorney John Morgan (who filed the suit in Orange County on Friday, Jan. 25), they completely deserve it under Texas law.

Texxxan.com has since shut down its pornographic operations, although the masterminds behind the private photo sharing site insist they did nothing wrong. The website (which recently changed from free service to subscription-based and is currently down due to "traffic overloads & discussions") now provides this lengthy (and most likely controversial) message to the public:

This website has received an unlimited amount of local and national media attention which has in turn resulted in extremely large traffic overloads to the website and servers, causing server errors and capacity issues. Individuals with the knowledge and know how to gain complete control have since had to step in and have began controlling administrator access to this website and limiting the systems of control and site moderation that had been put in place from the beginning for certain viewers and users of the public to control and administrate the site.

This process has still inevitably allowed the viewers of the site to turn it into what it has evolved into today from when it was simply just an internet platform to see what the public would turn it into and we have clearly seen that this answer has been provided. We are currently assessing the current controversial issues at hand but even though we may not agree with what this website has evolved into due to submissions and comments of public viewers of the website, we find no wrong doing from the website which has only been a framework for the public viewers to build upon. This website has been up and running since November of 2012 and to witness a blank framework being made available to the public in its infancy and then observing the evolution of the site and what it has been transformed into today is simply astounding to find that the public is completely capable of collectively building upon available frameworks to create an engaging and hugely trafficked website that has since attracted the endless amounts of local and national media attention that it has.

NOTE: Their have been a few misrepresentations of this website such as the claims that have been made alleging that this website wanted credit information for submission removal from the site, which is certainly not the case. In the beginnings of TEXXXAN.COM the viewers and users given administrator access to the site where instructed to give those with great concerns about being submitted to the website an option of research, prevention and filtering which meant that this websites research team would go and scrape the internet for matching images and inform individuals of where they may be found elsewhere on the internet and any possible actions that could be taken to have them removed as well as applying filters to TEXXXAN.COM for images and keywords relevant to the individuals to prevent any further submissions from making their way onto TEXXXAN.COM

This option was discontinued as soon as certain individuals began making false claims against the website.

We still find the content including submissions and comments of the site a bit disheartening to an extent due to the controversial contents that may be included but maybe the site provided an outlet for anger that prevented physical violence (this statement will be very controversial but is at least worth thinking about). The framework was simply built as an image submission platform for viewers to use that could have been taken down many different routes, even though we have now seen the main route that it has taken and the controversy it has caused. We are now assessing the situation and will do our best to make the best decisions pertaining to this issue that will hopefully benefit all individuals involved etc. Discussions are currently taking place on this matter and we will update everyone as soon as any decisions are made. When all the attention began we came in, shut things down and advised individuals to run a public poll and instructed them how to do so in order to decide whether to relaunch this site or shut it down completely.

Votes clearly displayed the majority of the public wished for the site to relaunch with 87% in favor of a relaunch and 13% in favor of killing the site. Since running the poll and relaunching the site media attention and publicity has increased to levels which we now feel it is necessary for our intervention on this website and that is what has now taken place. While in discussions pertaining to this website we are once again running a public poll to see what you think about this website, so please vote below.

WHAT DOES THE PUBLIC THINK?

We want the public to make the decision on what should happen with TEXXXAN.COM because the public has made the site what it is today and without them this site would simply be an empty platform. SO GIVE US YOUR OPINION!! DO YOU WANT TEXXXAN.COM TO RELAUNCH AS NORMAL OR SHOULD THE SITE BE SHUT DOWN, SOLD OFF, ETC? ALL VOTES ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Fans are then asked to vote on their decision, which can be done here.

As for the popular host website GoDaddy.com - Morgan claims that the company will reportedly have a month after it is served with the lawsuit to respond... after that he will seek the IP address connected with the website during discovery. According to Morgan, "these sites are all about public humiliation" and therefore an invasion of privacy under Texas law.

Toups insists that she isn't ashamed of her personal images going public if doing so helps the women win their case - "I don't regret speaking publicly about it if that's what it takes to make a change."

So what do Mstarz fans think, was Texxan.com illegally being used as a "revenge porn" forum?
