Sylvestor Stallone's half-sister, Toni-Ann Filiti, blackmailed the action star into an enormous payout in order to keep tapes of abuse secret. Filiti and Stallone's agreement goes all the way back to to 1987 when Filiti first accused her half-brother of significant abuse. According to the agreement, Stallone had to pay Filiti $16,666.66 every month on top of $2 million upfront. There was also a medical bill clause which had Stallone paying $50,000 more each year to Filiti. Stallone and Filiti's mother, Jackie Stallone, has always disputed these allegations made by her daughter, blaming drug addiction as a reason for blackmail. Jackie believes her son simply continued to pay his half-sister to make the problem go away considering it was at the height of his career.
Since Toni-Ann Filiti's death in August, 2012, due to lung cancer, this story has gained some energy. These secret tapes are nowhere to be found and perhaps were even destroyed as part of the 1987 agreement. There are even rumors of numerous tapes existing that reveal the abuse and perhaps bigger revelations of Sylvestor Stallone. If they do exist, nobody knows where any of these secret tapes are.
Filiti's son, Edd, backs up his mother's story stating she was holding strong to the abuse allegations even on her deathbed. It is a little suspect that these mysterious tapes have yet to surface after Filiti's death, which helps the case against their existence, but that is definitely not enough to ignore the idea of an abusive Stallone. Even at 66 years old, Stallone is a still an active action star with the physiqe to back it up. Plus, he is not denying his involvement in paying off his half-sister. All of this just seems a little suspicious.
Stallone made a career out of violent, hard-hitting roles such as the Rocky franchise, the Rambo franchise, and the recent Expendables franchise. Off-screen, he seems like a down-to-Earth kind of guy who has enjoyed a lifetime of success but who's to there aren't tapes revealing a side of Sylvestor Stallone that closely resembles his characters from film. Or maybe they reveal something completely different about the star. All I am trying to say is that it would interesting to see what these secret tapes have one them. Of course, if they do not exist, I guess we can just move on with our lives and worry about the next Expendables.
