"Mob Wives Chicago" star Pia Rizza apparently had her Playboy bunny dreams crushed when the adult magazine rejected her request for a nude feature after viewing her nude photos last week.

The Examiner reported today that sources close to Rizza said that her images were submitted to Playboy last weekend, but the magazine quickly shot down the idea, saying they weren't interested at this time.
According to TMZ, the 40-year-old reality star decided to try to land a spread in Hugh Hefner's magazine after someone got their hands on some nude photos of the Chicago "mob wife" and tried to sell them to various media outlets. Rizza "beat them to punch" and released the photos herself, including sending a few to Playboy magazine.
Rizza said she posed for some nude self portraits back in 2012 and sent them to her boyfriend to get his opinion on whether or not she was sexy enough for Playboy, states Hollywood Gossip.
Based upon the recent reported rejection, Hefner's staff clearly didn't think Rizza's photos were Playboy worthy despite what her boyfriend thought.
However, Rizza denied the magazine's disinterest via Twitter today, claiming she never even sent the nude photos to Playboy:
"No I never sent in the pics or did I say I wanted to do playboy at this time ," the mob wife stated.
As Inquisitr notes following this tweet, it's unclear if Pia Rizza got rejected from Playboy or if she never sent them photos in the first place. It is clear, however, that the Mob Wives star will not be appearing in the pages of the famous magazine anytime soon.
Pia Rizza is the daughter of Vincent Rizza, who worked for "The Chicago Outfit," also known as the Chicago Syndicate, Chicago Mafia, Chicago Mob, or simply the Outfit. Rizza subsequently testified against them and entered the Federal Witness Protection Program, reports Examiner.
"Mob Wives: Chicago" is a reality television series on VH1 and a spin-off of the original "Mob Wives" show based in New York. The short-lived series debuted on June 10, 2012 with a new cast based in Chicago, Illinois and was not renewed for a second season. Clearly the Chicago cast couldn't compete with Staten Island's irreplaceable mob wives: Big Ang, Renee, Drita, Carla, and Karen.
