Isaiah Crowell And Josh Gordon Deliver For Cleveland Browns

By Kenneth Brown |

Josh Gordon Is Back

Josh Gordon is back, the real (starter) Isaiah Crowell and Brian Hoyer are ready to rumble and they've just — perhaps luckily — beaten the Atlanta Falcons with a last-second field goal. Gordon has served his 10-game ban and he started the game well, and finished well, proving he had no "rust" from his long suspension. Crowell is now the No. 1 running back and Hoyer is still the quarterback and will remain so while he finds ways to win. It might not have been their best performance, but the Browns's boys have won again, and many are comparing them to the Super Bowl-winning New York Giants in recent memory. But can Cleveland go that far? Crowell is their new secret weapon. He never expected the NFL life to come so easy this season, but now Ben Tate is gone and he's the main man. This all fell in to the week where he was visiting Atlanta, where most of his family is based. Could he impress? He did just that, getting two touchdowns and proving that the Browns have a legitimate threat at RB. Read More »

Has The Sale Of Luis Suarez Ruined Liverpool?

By Kenneth Brown |

Mario Balotelli & Brendan Rodgers Liverpool's Problem?

When Liverpool sold Luis Suarez and Brendan Rodgers replaced him with Adam Lallana and Mario Balotelli, many knew they'd suffer, but nobody predicted their terrible start to the season would be this bad. But the coach has admitted it's his fault, and that so far their Premier League campaign has been an abject "failure." Can Liverpool recover from this poor spell, and is Rodgers at risk of losing his job? Rodgers insisted: "We are very disappointed with the performance and the result, and as the manager it is something I need to take full responsibility for. We need to find a solution quickly because this is very disappointing, and we have no one but ourselves to blame. We had to make changes in the summer and are near enough entering a transition phase. But whatever phase, we have to be better than that." Has he been through a worse time at the club, you ask? He continued, according to the BBC: "This is the worst run my team has been on and the only way out is working together. We have to improve and very, very quickly because the games come thick and fast." Read More »

Lewis Hamilton Celebrates F1 Win With Prince Harry

By Kenneth Brown |

Lewis Hamilton Wins F1 Championship

Lewis Hamilton knew one little slip up on the race track and he'd lose his chance to win the F1 world championship — and not only that, but he'd embarrass himself in front of royal family member Prince Harry. But Prince William wasn't there, quite possibly looking after his wife Kate Middleton instead. Hamilton knew his teammate Nico Rosberg could beat him in the individual world championship, meaning he had to better him, and he did just that. Despite many different racers from across the world taking part, it's the British driver, Hamilton, who will celebrate for the coming months with his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger. Hamilton insisted, according to the BBC: "This is the greatest day of my life. 2008 was a great year in my life. The feeling I have now is way, way past that. The greatest feeling ever." Harry then added, "Lewis, well done for not making the British public sweat. You are an absolute legend." Read More »

Lionel Messi Tops David Moyes With La Liga Record

By Kenneth Brown |

Lionel Messi- The Best Ever?

David Moyes just can't catch a break, can he? The new Real Sociedad manager made his coaching debut for the La Liga side and all eyes were on him, but as he usually does, Lionel Messi stole the show shortly before, according to the BBC. His hat trick in a 5-1 win for Barcelona ensured that he became the all-time top scorer for La Liga with 253 goals. With this record in place, Spain and the world soon forgot about the ex-Manchester United manager as all took joy in watching Messi make history, adding to the view that he's the best player to ever play the game. Messi was one short of the record, but a free-kick put him on level terms, and his two second-half goals ensured the 27-year-old will forever be a La Liga legend, according to the BBC. His coach, Luis Enrique, told the BBC: "He's a unique player — there'll never be anyone like him and we're lucky to enjoy his presence here. I think he will leave the record unreachable for anyone else. Zarra beat it in an age when there were more forwards than defenders." Read More »

Are LeBron James And Kevin Love Leaving The Cleveland Cavaliers?

By Kenneth Brown |

LeBron James, Kevin Love & Kyrie Irving Not Working?

It all seemed so easy. LeBron James and Kevin Love joined the Cleveland Cavaliers, giving them and stars Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters a huge chance at NBA success, but it just hasn't worked out. Yet again the Cavs were on the losing side, getting demolished 110-93 by the Toronto Raptors. With Love and James highly regarded yet struggling at the moment, could they opt out of their longterm plan this coming summer? It'd hurt their reputation, but if they no longer believe in their "fragile" team, will they run away at the first opportunity they get? LeBron has remained calm, but he admitted, according to ESPN: "We're a very fragile team right now. Well, we were a fragile team from the beginning. Any little adversity hits us, we just shell up. That's something that will come with experience. This is not even the lowest it's going to get for us. "You guys know, the lowest it can get is up 17 in the fourth quarter of Game 2 of the Finals and losing. It can get that low. Or being up 2-1 and going to Game 4 and lose three straight in the Finals. That's very low. So, I'm very optimistic. I'm very positive. More positive than I thought I would be right now, so, we look at what we did wrong, things that we did well and get ready for Orlando coming in on Monday." Read More »

Manny Pacquiao: Give Me Floyd Mayweather Fight

By Kenneth Brown |

Manny Pacquiao To Beat Floyd 'Money' Mayweather In 2015?

Manny Pacquiao might be heading toward the end of his career, but he has performed at an elite level once again, dominating top fighter Chris Algieri. Does he want to go out on top with this win? Apparently not, since he's desperate to fight Floyd Mayweather, and if that doesn't pan out, then he might just take on Amir Khan or Juan Manuel Marquez once again. Manny still looks near his best despite his evident inability to KO opponents in the later stages of his career. Will "Money" Mayweather take on Manny? Manny explained his respect for his opponent, saying to the BBC, "I'm not surprised he kept getting up. That's what he did against Ruslan Provodnikov." When asked about fighting Mayweather, he continued, "I want that fight. The fans deserve that fight." Will the two be able to settle their differences outside the ring so they can sit down and negotiate and then settle it once and for all in the ring? Read More »

Arsene Wenger Slams Wayne Rooney's Manchester United And His 'Naive' Arsenal Team

By Kenneth Brown |

Wayne Rooney Celebrates At Long Last

Wayne Rooney has forever been a thorn in Arsene Wenger's Arsenal, and he has once again come back to haunt them. Despite Manchester United perhaps being second best, they grabbed a 2-1 win at Emirates Stadium, largely due to Rooney's influence. Louis Van Gaal earned his first away win with the club, but Wenger wasn't prepared to praise his opponents, suggesting it was Arsenal errors that cost them this vital Premier League game. Wenger hit out at both his team and opponents, saying to the BBC: "At the moment defensively we are a bit naive. It's a game that we dominated for 80 percent of the time and we haven't dominated a game like that against Manchester United for a long time. At the end of the day we were not efficient enough in the final third, or defensively, and we made a mistake at the back, which they took advantage of. Once we were 1-0 down, we had possession in the final third that they had to defend. We missed a few opportunities in the second half, even in the final 20 minutes." Read More »

Tony Bellew

Bellew's rival team's star player, Mario Balotelli, was even in attendance, and rightfully so with the winner of this contest earning a world title shot against cruiserweight champion Marco Huck.
